Middle Tennessee Counseling is presenting a one hour NBCC approved CE course for licensed clinicians on the role burnout plays in the life and practice of people helpers. This course will equip clinicians to learn:
- How to recognize burnout and its warning signs
- Grow a deeper understanding of the difference between self-care and soul-care and how that impacts deeper encounters with clients
- How to develop and burnout prevention and recovery program
This program is designed to help licensed clinicians gain a deeper sense of the impact and cost the work of counseling has on the inner life of those who are doing the work of therapy. Through case vignettes, guided reflection and experiential exercise, clinicians will gain a deeper sense of their own particular vulnerabilities toward burnout and a deeper engagement with the self around self-care, accepting ones own vulnerabilities, and creating an effective plan to prevent burnout.
This course is presented by:
Samuel Rainey, MA, LPC-MHSP and Eleah Hyatt, MA, LMFT, RPT-S
Registration is due no later than June 25th, 2025. This is a free course. If you wish to receive CE credit for this course, the fee is $15 and is due at the time of registration. Full refunds will be made if Middle Tennessee Counseling is contacted for cancellation no later than 48 hours prior to start of the event.
